When your Seiko, Citizen, or Bulova needs service, you want it handled by a repair center that uses genuine parts and follows the manufacturer’s service guidelines. Watch Technicians is proud to be an authorized service center in St. Louis for five major watch brands: Seiko, Citizen, Bulova, Invicta, and Shinola.
This means when you bring your watch to us, you’re getting factory-authorized service right here in St. Louis — no need to ship your watch across the country and wait weeks for it to come back. All three of our locations are authorized for all five brands, and walk-ins are always welcome.
What Does “Authorized Service Center” Mean?
An authorized service center has been officially recognized by the watch manufacturer to perform repairs and maintenance on their behalf. This means the service center has met the manufacturer’s standards for technical expertise and equipment, has access to genuine factory-original replacement parts, follows the manufacturer’s specific service procedures, and can perform warranty-covered repairs when applicable.
For watch owners, this provides real peace of mind. You know the person working on your Seiko Presage or Citizen Eco-Drive has been vetted by the brand itself and is using the right parts and techniques — not generic substitutes.
Brands We’re Authorized to Service
Seiko
From the iconic Seiko 5 Sports to the Prospex dive collection and the premium Presage line, we service the full range of Seiko watches using genuine Seiko parts. Whether your Seiko needs a battery replacement, a movement overhaul, or a new crystal, we handle it according to factory specifications.
Seiko’s Kinetic line uses a rechargeable power cell rather than a standard battery — when a Kinetic stops holding a charge, the cell needs to be replaced with the correct Seiko-spec component. As an authorized service center, we stock these cells and install them properly. We also service Seiko’s solar-powered models and the full Astron GPS collection.
Citizen
Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology is one of the most popular solar-powered watch systems in the world. When your Eco-Drive stops holding a charge or your Citizen needs mechanical service, we have the genuine parts and expertise to restore it. We also service Citizen’s Promaster and Chandler collections.
The most common Eco-Drive issue we see: the watch stops after years of reliable service and the owner assumes it needs a standard battery. Eco-Drive watches use a rechargeable secondary power cell that degrades after 10 to 15 years — not a replaceable disposable battery. As an authorized Citizen service center, we stock the correct replacement cells for all models and install them per Citizen’s specifications. For a full explanation of Eco-Drive problems and fixes, see our Citizen Eco-Drive repair guide.
Bulova
Bulova’s heritage stretches back over 150 years, and their watches — from the Precisionist to the Accutron and Classic collections — deserve care that matches their legacy. As an authorized Bulova service center, we maintain these watches according to factory specifications using genuine Bulova parts.
Invicta
Invicta watches are known for their bold designs and reliable Swiss and Japanese movements. We’re authorized to service and repair all Invicta models, from the Pro Diver and Bolt to the Reserve collection.
Shinola
Built in Detroit with American craftsmanship, Shinola watches have a dedicated following. As an authorized Shinola service center in St. Louis, we ensure your Shinola receives the care it was designed for — with genuine parts and factory-specified service procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions About Authorized Watch Service
Can you perform warranty repairs on Seiko, Citizen, or Bulova watches?
Yes. If your watch is within its manufacturer warranty period, bring it in with proof of purchase. As an authorized service center for all three brands, we can perform warranty-covered repairs. The specific coverage depends on your watch’s warranty terms — we’ll assess the issue and let you know what’s covered before any work begins.
How does local authorized service compare to sending my watch to the manufacturer?
Much faster and more convenient. Sending a watch directly to the manufacturer typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, plus shipping costs both ways. At Watch Technicians, most authorized service is completed within a few days to a week. Your watch stays in St. Louis the entire time, and you can walk in for a free inspection any day without an appointment.
Do you also service brands you’re not authorized for, like Rolex or Omega?
Yes. In addition to our five authorized brands, we provide expert independent service for Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer, Breitling, Movado, Fossil, and virtually every other watch brand. For Rolex specifically, visit our Rolex repair in St. Louis page for details.
